You might note 2 things about this Solstice Cairn: the similarity to my most recent major piece, namely the Lithadelic Tear Drop. And ALSO, the similarity to many undulating cairns I’ve made over the years, especially Squiggly Noodle, and many Undulating Pagodas.
But the FLAME-like shape is one that I make now. After convincing stone to move like water for so many years, now we approach flame, continuing a theme of one element (stone) imitating another.
