Stone benches made from Natural Stone collected in and around Stroudsburg and the Poconos region.
I’m always on the lookout for interesting shaped boulders and always dreaming up new ways to configure them into special stone features such as benches.

The material itself comes in all sorts of colors, sizes and shapes. I add a bit of my own creativity in there too, coming up with new configurations very year.
Mosaics, incorporated into my flagstone projects in the Stroudsburg area

My mosaics are Dry Set stone work. Mortared “pebble mosaics” will fail, really fast in a northern climate. You won’t likely get 1 winter without major issues. I however always liked mosaics and wanted to figure out how to do this, using dry stone techniques. I’ve been at it for more than a decade, slowly getting more and more ambitious with my patio design work and at this point I have a formula that works.
My goal is to wield tons on stone like a painter with a brush and pallet.

Unique Stone Features: Masonry Sculptures
My Spheres and Cairn Sculptures all grew out of my masonry work and dry stone walling work. My goals were to see how far I can take this medium, to show what is possible with dry stone work and masonry–and also to just build cool stuff.
Cairn Houses AKA Devy Wovies
I always liked ancient ruins and crumbling temples. I always thought we should have some of them in our area. one day finally got around to it–and started building them. Like ancient shrines, or sand castles–or somewhere in between. This one was built as a group project for a workshop I conducted in Jim Thorpe PA last year.
I travel a bit too, for artistic projects. This tall drink of water on a sunny day was built for an arts festival in Texas a few years back.
